This page explains what Afaq Academy collects, why we use it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
When an account is created, we may process a name and email address for authentication. The portal may store progress, XP, rounds, stories, and learning choices.
Storage and services
We use Supabase for authentication and account/progress storage. The site may connect to YouTube for video thumbnails and playback, and to WhatsApp when you choose to contact us. Review those services' policies too.
Local storage
The app uses browser local storage for fast progress and interface preferences. Clearing site data removes the local copy; account deletion must be requested from the account page or through contact.
Children and parents
The service is designed for family learning and children. A parent or guardian should approve an account where required by law, and children should not enter sensitive personal information into exercises or messages.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request account and data deletion from the account page or by contacting us.
Security and updates
We use authentication controls, database access policies, and secure transport. No internet service is perfectly secure, and this policy may change as the service changes.
